Chester Baldwin graduated from the University of Washington with Honors in 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Computer Information Systems and Finance and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health. He worked in consulting for several years before going to law school where he earned his Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law, graduating in 2007. Mr. Baldwin is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and Thurston County Bar Association and is also admitted to practice in Federal Court.

Chester began practicing in 2006 as a Rule 9 Prosecutor with the Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office where he handled court calendars, motions, and jury trials. After passing the bar, Mr. Baldwin joined the firm, working with his longtime friend and mentor, Jack Hanemann. Chester specializes in DUI and Criminal Defense. His practice also includes Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, and Real Estate issues.

Chester volunteers as a Big Brother with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and his little brother has recently been accepted on scholarship to Pacific Lutheran University. He also actively volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America where he was an Eagle Scout.

Chester is married with a daughter and spends as much time as possible with his family. He is a passionate UW Husky and Seattle Mariner fan and regularly attends games. He enjoys playing many sports and is an avid softball player and team coach. He also loves SCUBA diving and traveling and is currently planning a dive trip to Fiji.
